Driving through the Dolomites mountains I was subjected to fantastic views and huge rock faces. I was passing between accommodation and happened upon this beautiful light, I couldn't miss my opportunity. I pulled the car over on the middle of a hairpin bend, (not ideal) and grabbed my camera before running off down the road to snap this shot. I went back to the car happy I got the photo and less than a minute later the light was gone.
Jungfrau mountain region, the highest railway in Europe and seventh highest in the world. The Jungfrau mountain region has stunning views, the mountain peaks separated by a massive glacier. You can hear the cracks and rumbles from small avalanches, and occasionally see one, at the altitude of 11,332 feet.
Another part of the incredible Dolomites, the Sassolungo is home to some of the highest peaks around. After being overcharged at the cable car I decided to get my moneys worth and set a timelapse going. This photo is one still from a video sequence.
